Sierra Guidry is a Texas girl, born and raised. Born in the small town of Gatesville, she was always interested in wildlife and hunting. She graduated from Texas A&M in 2010 with a degree in Entomology and Biological Anthropology, then worked for the University’s Vet School for eight years. During that time, she began to explore taxidermy as a hobby, primarily as a way to preserve her own kills. What started out as an interesting diversion quickly became a passion. Not long afterward, she stepped away from the laboratory to pursue her craft full-time. She is now a certified Master Taxidermist in Lifesize and Gamehead in Texas, Louisana, and Oklahoma. Sierra and her husband Homer make their home in Bryan, where he is a gun smith and the owner of BLISS (Block Life Industriesy Security), a retail supplier of weapons and tactical gear. They have two German Shepherds, Chainsaw and Fena, and hunt hogs together every chance they get.

Sierra has traveled across the US to work in some of the top taxidermy studios.

Sierra has traveled across the United States to take multiple life-size mammal classes at some of the top taxidermy studios in the country, including an advanced whitetail class under the direction of World
Champion Wes Mote.

With a strong desire to support excellence in her chosen field, Sierra is a current member of the Texas Taxidermy Association as well as an active Board Member. Sierra is also an active member of the Louisiana and Oklahoma Taxidermy Associations. She is actively engaged in maintaining high standards and encouraging young people to consider the profession.
