About Us

Sierra Guidry

Sierra Guidry is a Texas girl, born and raised. Born in the small town of Gatesville, she was always interested in wildlife and hunting. She graduated from Texas A&M in 2010 with a degree in Entomology and Biological Anthropology, then worked for the University’s Vet School for eight years. During that time, she began to explore taxidermy as a hobby, primarily as a way to preserve her own kills. What started out as an interesting diversion quickly became a passion. Not long afterward, she stepped away from the laboratory to pursue her craft full-time.

Sierra and her husband Homer make their home in Bryan, where he is a gun smith and the owner of BLISS (Block Life Industriesy Security), a retail supplier of weapons and tactical gear. They have a Belgian Malinois (Samantha) and a German Shepherd (Chainsaw) and hunt hogs together every chance they get.
